Measuring Silence

Let us muse today from Zechariah 2: 10-13 and one of the 10 visions which I have called the man with the measuring line. In our text we have the measuring silence. In our verses today because of the great work of God the chosen people break out in singing and rejoicing. In verse 13 God calls for all flesh to be silent. I cannot imagine a time when every single human will be silent. Why has there been a call for a time of silence? In verse 13 it seems the silence has been called because the Lord stood up. He has been sitting now for 2000 years He only got up for Stephen’s homecoming. The next time He stands He will come to get His chose people and take them to His house.
