Let us muse today from Zephaniah 3:2-8 and God’s kingdom dealings. On yesterday we spoke of God’s anger. Today I point out three things made clear by God’s anger. One is found in verse two and it is a sinful people made clear. Zephaniah said they obeyed not His voice, received not his correction, trusted not,and drew not near the Lord. In verses 3-4 we find there is a godless leadership made clear. The nation was corrupted politically and religiously. In verses 5-8 there is hope the fact that there is a holy God made clear. We find Him in the midst. He cause them to fear and wait upon Him. He said I’ll gather all the wicked nations and pour out the fire of My wrath upon them. What great hope I have to know that I’m not appointed unto God’s wrath.
