Let us muse today from Zephaniah 3: 1-8 and God’s kingdom dealings. In this third chapter we find that God’s dealings with man is described in three different ways. In verse eight we are confronted with God’s anger. Many times Jerusalem is called Zion are the holy city but here it is called in verse one the oppressing city. The operations of being oppressive are the dark works of Satan. America has often been called a God-fearing nation. I wonder if God would describe it in different terms today. When I think of God’s anger I find no hope or place to hide here but only in His Son the Lord Jesus Christ.
