Let us begin to muse today on Zephaniah 2:4-15 and the day of the Lord’s affect on the Gentile nations. There are four nations mentioned in this text which correspond to the four points on the compass. Assyria is the north point, Cush the south point, Moab and Ammon East, and Philistia is the West. This tells us that the day of the Lord will affect every nation on the face of the earth when it falls. They will all taste of His wrath, none will be spared
