Let us in muse today from Zephaniah 1:1 an some introductory remarks about this book. This part of the text says, the Word of the Lord which came unto Zephaniah. This phrase tells me a couple of things. One is that this is not the words of Zephaniah but the Words of the Lord. This gives great credence to the inspiration of the Scriptures. The word LORD is in all caps in the authorized English version of the Bible. When LORD is in all caps it speaks of the covenant keeping, promise keeping, and great I AM God. This is the one who came to this prophet with the word for that day as well as our day.Let us do nothing less than take heed.
