Radical Power

Let us muse from Habakkuk 3:6-7 and the section I have entitled the prophet’s adoration. In this section Habakkuk prayed and pondered God’s plan.. During this pondering time he pondered God’s radical power. The prophet said God’s stood and measured the earth. Earthly generals either push forward or retreat depending upon how the battle is going, but in this battle God stood and measures the earth as one who owns it all. He shook the earth like it was but a ball in His hands. All the enemies of God’s people in verse two were terrified. I’m glad we have a God who one day will display His radical power for all to see.
