A Promised Deliverance

Let us muse today from Micah 4:9-10 where Micah  comes back to this present day and tells  them of a promised deliverance. He tells them they will fall into Babylonian captivity which will cause the pain like that of a woman having a baby. The promise is that He will come and deliver them even from Babylon. I find great comfort in these thoughts. The comfort is that the Lord knows  the way that I take. He knows it because He has planned it thus. When I am tired I shall come forth as refined gold. His purpose in all that He sends us, does to us, is to produce the likeness and image of His Son on us and in us.
