Jonah Sees God As A Righteous Person

Let us muse from Jonah 4:2 and another thought on Jonah’s anger with God. It is here Jonah sees God as a righteous person. Jonas said the reason I fled to Tarshish was because I knew that  thou art a gracious God, merciful, slow to anger, of great kindness, and change your mind about showing evil. Would it not have been great if Jonah had shared these thoughts with the folks at Nineveh? Jonah saw these attributes of God as a loss instead of a gain. How terrible it is when we know so much about God, but never tell it to those we meet along the way. We are often angered when we see God’s blessing those we dislike and disagree with. Shame, shame, shame on us.
