Jonah’s Anger With God

Let us begin today to muse from Jonah 4:1-4 and Jonah’s anger with God. In verse one we find that Jonah is exceedingly displeased and angry with God because of His saving of Nineveh. I feel this anger probably steams from three things. One is Jonah sees himself as a ruined prophet. The Old Testament says if a prophet prophesied and it does not come to pass then he is a false prophet and worthy to be stoned. Jonah cared little for Nineveh and less about God’s work, but he is greatly concerned about the fact of is reputation being ruined. My,how we can concern ourselves so much with our little world and see little of the bigger picture of God’s work
