Jonah’s Storm

Let us muse today from Jonah 1:4 and Jonah’s storm. We are told that the Lord sent out a great wind and mighty tempest into the sea and the ship was near to being broken in two. The word  Lord is the self-sufficient one, the one who needs no one to complete Him, and the great I am. He has control over all the weather. The disciples on one occasion stood in awe of Him and said even the wind and sea obey His command. When we serve a God who can ride hurricanes into  large cities of the USA and wipe them out, may we bow in humble adoration of obedience to His Lordship.
