All Is Vain Unless The Holy One Come Down

Let me take a day off from musing in Amos. I do not often blog about services, but I must say a word about Monday night this week in Weedowee, AL. I am preaching from Psalms 23 and David’s diary. I was in verse 3 preaching on the path of restoration and righteousness. The LORD fell on us and for about 45 minutes people were confessing sin, praising the LORD, and thanking Him for all He had done. What a time we had. I have been reminded of what the song said that when we meet together all is vain unless the Spirit of the Holy One comes down. Let us go to church praying for, looking for, and being disappointed if the Holy One does not come down.
