Let us muse again today from Amos 3:2 and God’s call. We have looked at the fact it involves an edifying call, effectual call, and an exclusive call. We want to see today it involves an expectant call. God’s call of divine election is not an excuse to sin, but it is God expecting out of us holy living. God expects us to love Him with all our soul, heart, and might. The songwriter said when he surveyed what God has done for him it demands my soul, my life, and my all. I fear I’m giving God a whole lot less than what He is expecting from me.
