Let us muse today from Amos 3:2a an a section I have entitled God’s call. Today I desire to look at an exclusive call. In verse two God says you only have I known. The word only gives the idea of an exclusive call. The word known is the word of intimacy used between a husband and wife. It is translated in other places as chosen. God says I have chosen you as an individual to have an intimate relationship with. It is a term that Paul applies to Christian believers in Romans 8:29 and the fact that we have been chosen as an individual for the Lord to have an intimate relationship with. This thing is bigger than the profession of the Romans Road experience. We have the little end of something big.
