Let us muse today from Amos 3:5 and a question about a snare. The question is can one be taken up in a snare from the earth, and have taken nothing at all. We know that a trap doesn’t spring unless it has its prey. I fear that many of us have been caught in Satan’s trap and we have never heard it spring. How often in my pride I’ve been trapped by Satan and will not admit it. Satan’s greatest trick for God’s people is to keep the status quo of never growing or going further in being like Christ. This is the greatest of all tricks. If Satan can keep us in this trap he loves it.
